One and done.
The one and done rule in college basketball is a complete joke. The NCAA allows this to happen but frowns upon college coaches making too many phonecalls to recruit these same athletes? What kind of message are they sending about the value of a college education? What insentive does a Trey Burke have to go to class if hes only going to Michigan for 1 season of basketball? Making a mockery out of an instution of higher learning and not caring about academic standards is just as bad a violation of the rules as receiving extra material benefits from some wild eyed booster with deep pockets. Why not set up an independent league for college aged players apart from our nations colleges and universities that would allow for them to play basketball or football and bypass the phony college experience crapola the NCAA tries to promote? The answer is the NCAA wants to further promote this phony crapola because of the big money these high school sports stars create. The NCAA does not mind capitalizing on young high school talent but let a college coach take a kid out to lunch like Rick Majeris did at Utah after he lost his father and BAM its a recruting violation. A bunch of sickening political hypocrites!! A brood of vipers and opportunists!! Stop the nonsense and bring the value of a college education back to where it belongs above and beyond that of the curruption and greed of big money college athletics.
